A almas caviar from albino sturgeon is the most expensive food product in the world. A kilogram of this roe costs the most, up to 25 000 pounds. Albino sturgeon are very unique. It comes from Iran and is packaged in cans of 24-carat gold. They lack the gene needed to produce melatonin, which is the cause of white coloration. It is not possible to breed them in larger numbers. From one albino sturgeon it is possible to obtain about 300 grams of caviar. The best is light caviar, which is ripe and has this ideal taste. Ordering just a teaspoon we will pay as much as for a good class car.

Fish farming

Caviar comes one hundred percent from breeding, widespread in Europe, increasingly popular also in Poland. Each snail lays once a year on average about 100 eggs, that is, about 5 grams. Breeders need to very gently collect each egg: about 3-4 mm in diameter. This is done exclusively by hand, hence the high price of the final product.


To prepare one kilogram of "White Gold" you need as much as five kilograms of caviar, which is dried in a special process. Also important is the fact of special storage of roe before drying, a process during which caviar loses up to 80 percent of its weight. Then we grind the roe and mix it with 22-carat gold, which in small portions has a very positive effect on the human immune system. For their production he uses the roe of older fish, because caviar is then more aromatic, elegant and tastes much better.

Good for health

Caviar eggs contain a lot of protein, phospholipids, mineral salts, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, calcium, silicon and iodine. In snail caviar we can also find vitamins A, D and E and unsaturated fatty acids. All these ingredients, of course, have a natural origin, which contributes to their better absorption. Caviar of this type has a considerable energy value - 100 grams contain 80 kcal.

What to eat it with

We use delicate eggs in the kitchen just like sturgeon or salmon caviar - we eat it on sandwiches made of delicate, white bread, add it to blins and pancakes, decorate dishes with it. Apparently, it is an excellent snack for vodka. Caviar should be well cooled, but given already at room temperature. It should therefore be removed from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving. It must also not be smeared or crushed with a knife only gently applied with a teaspoon. Caviar can be used in the preparation of pasta, risotto, or applied to crunchy toast with butter. The taste is pronounced, feel fresh fish. It takes very small amounts of our caviar to get a unique taste.

The use of caviar in cosmetics

Almas caviar is used not only in the kitchen, but also in cosmetics. The substances contained in eggs improve the firmness of the skin, accelerate its regeneration. They have moisturizing effects, effectively protecting against water loss in the body. In addition, they improve metabolism, relieve inflammation, act as a barrier against the action of free radicals, delay the process of keratinization of the epidermis and have anti-allergic properties. Caviar is used in the manufacture of creams, masks and scrubs, shampoos and hair conditioners.
